Top Ten Tuesday (9) - Books Not Reviewed

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Each week they post a new prompt for a top ten list, and bloggers fill it out on their blogs.  This is just another way for bloggers to network and get to know one another.  All that's asked is that when you post you put your link and go and visit other's blogs as well.  This gives book bloggers the chance to go and find other blogs to read.

So, welcome to my blog!  Check out what I have to say for this weeks theme, and then click on the image to go and find out what others have to say.  Let me know what you think of my top ten list, and leave a link to yours and I'll check it out.

This week's theme is "Top Ten Books You Love But Never Wrote A Review For".  Most of the books I'm going to list... I just read before I had a blog... and then too much time passed for me to feel super comfortable to write a review.  So.  Now.  On with the list:
1.  City of Bones by Cassandra Clare - This is one of my favorite books/series of all time.  I absolutely love the story line, along with the characters and the world that's created inside the novel's pages.

2.  Uglies by Scott Westerfeld - Another great start to a fantastic series.  I read it back in high school... and it was probably one of the first books that got me into the dystopian genre.

3.  Tithe by Holly Black - I read this book back in eighth grade , and I'll be honest... I wasn't even sure how to pronounce the title back then.  About sevenish years later I'm proud to say I do know how to pronounce the title, and I've read it quite a few times.  It's one of my favorite fey series.

4.  Alex Unlimited by Dan Jolley - I'm not really even sure when I read this series... I got the first book way back when.  I believe the first book was given to me, and I hadn't realized that it was a series until I stumbled upon them at the store.  It's a quick, fun, interesting read.

5.  Fire by Kristin Cashore - I could add Graceling but I figured I'd stick with Fire. I really enjoyed this story (more than Graceling, actually).  Again, as all the others... I read this book way before I started my blog, or it would have most definitely been reviewed on my blog.

6.  Beastly by Alex Flinn - I am a Beauty and the Beast fanatic.  I love reading retellings, and I'm attempting to write my own right now.  So.  I read this awhile ago when I first found out a modern telling of this tale existed.  I haven't seen the movie though... which I should probably do.  Just to say I saw it.  So.  Yes.  This is a fantastic book.  I'll probably be rereading it again soon, which will lead to the eventual review.

7.  Goddess of the Rose by P.C. Cast - I figured I'd keep up the Beauty and the Beast theme... this is a romance novel, which is the main reason I have never reviewed this novel.  It's really not a YA novel, it's most definitely an adult romance.  But it's a nice romantic, rendition of the story.

8.  Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder - I haven't read the next two in the series (but I own them) but I really loved the first one.  What's funny is I probably could have written a review for this book... but I just didn't get to it quick enough.  I'll probably end up rereading it before I start the next book in the series.  Too much time has past to no go back and reread.

9.  Waiting For You by Susane Colasanti - I've been going through a realistic fiction phase... which makes me go back and wan to reread this novel.  It's probably my favorite so far from Colasanti.  The story is cute, and it kept me engaged.

10.  Looking For Alaska by John Green - Another book I read way back when before I started my blog.  John Green is one of my favorite authors, and this book is very interesting.  It's a lot different than what you generally get from realistic fiction authors, which I find refreshing.  I'm not sure if it's because it's from a male author, or if it's just the change in writing style... but I certainly enjoyed it.

So what books have you loved and never reviewed?  Feel free to comment and leave a link to your post, I'll check it out :)  Have a great Tuesday!
