So since you took the time to click the link I'm guessing you're interested in learning a little bit about the blog. So, without further ado, here is what you're looking for:
About the blogger:
Hello to those who read this, I'm Chelsea. I'm currently a student at Miami University (of Ohio). I'm majoring in Individualized Studies (which is just a fancy way to say I'm designing my own major). My focus (or course of study) is in English and in Adolescent Development. The goal? I hope to take my knowledge of English, and then apply it to adolescent development. The ultimate goal is to take it into young adult publishing. Eventually I'd love to become a YA author as well.
When I'm not doing this blogging thing, or activities related to it (lets be honest though, reading/writing seems to be my life), I'm normally just hanging out with my friends. I like to write fiction, I've dabbled in both realistic fiction and fantasy, perhaps every so often I'll share some of this with you all. Another thing I love is photography. I don't do it as often as I'd like, but when I do it normally comes out pretty well.
If you want to know more about me... feel free to send me an e-mail, I'd love to hear from you.
About the blog:
Books Turn Brains was founded mid-2010 though it didn't really get going until the end of that year. So as of right now it's a relatively new blog.
The focus of this blog is on reviewing young adult literature. I may be about to leave my teens, but I don't believe I will ever outgrow these stories. I believe they can play an integral role in teenagers lives, just as they did for me. The YA world is every changing and evolving, and I want to be there through it all. This blog gives me that chance. With the focus on YA lit, I'll include author interviews, giveaways, and whatever else I may decide is relevant.
